Product Engineer Developer Tools (Hybrid SF or NYC)
About the Job

In this hybrid role (34 days onsite in San Francisco or New York) youll design and deliver scalable web applications SDKs and APIs that power next-generation developer experiences used by top AI and software companies.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Design and ship major improvements to the SDK Studio empowering developers to go from OpenAPI spec to production-ready SDKs.
- Build LLM-powered tools that redefine how developers create and maintain APIs.
- Develop and scale public APIs that underpin the core Stainless platform.
- Contribute to architecture design from front-end UX to backend infrastructure.
- Engage directly with developersfrom startups to enterprisesto understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Write documentation and content that helps developers succeed.
- Champion high-quality maintainable code across the full stack.
What Youll Need:
- 4 years of full-stack or front-end engineering experience (TypeScript React )
- Proven success delivering modern web applications end to end
- Strong product sensibility and design intuition
- Deep understanding of developer tools and API ecosystems (OpenAPI REST etc.)
- Ability to architect solutions across multiple programming languages
- Track record of impactful projectsquantifiable outcomes preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
