Overview
Its often overwhelming for the people we support to make changes in their lives. You can help by donating your time as a volunteer mentor.
Responsibilities
With this role youll be working as part of Havering team based in Romford
In this role you will be supporting the people who use our services by offering them one-to-one support in the community.
Whether youre talking about goals in a coffee shop or researching job opportunities together in a library no two sessions will be the same. We treat everyone as individual so being flexible curious and a good listener are key.
Helping people to take that next step can be a challenge so in return for your time we will offer you comprehensive training and will ensure that you have someone at the other end of the phone for day-to-day advice and guidance. We will also make sure you have a named supervisor who you will meet up with regularly.
By volunteering with us you will gain valuable experience and skills as well as making a real difference.
