Were looking for aSenior Engineerto join our Gaming Technology team on a parental cover where youll shape the tools and pipelines that power LEGO digital gaming experiences enjoyed by millions around the globe.
Location will be in Copenhagen Hub. Please note there is no relocation budget for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain Unity applications and tools
Implement pipelines and automation within the Unity environment enhancing productivity and ensuring consistency across LEGO digital play experiences
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including backend design and gameplay engineering) to integrate Unity-based tooling with cloud services and backend APIs
Support asset development including import validation and transformation workflows tailored to internal standards
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions helping maintain high standards of code quality and design.

The Gaming Technology department builds and maintains tools pipelines and plugins that power LEGOs digital gaming experiences. Our team works closely with some of the most advanced game engines and backend services to enable developers to create immersive playful and scalable products for LEGO fans around the world.
Were looking for a Senior Engineer (parental cover) to focus on Unity-based development tooling and workflows contributing to the internal systems that enable scalable and efficient game development. Youll help maintain and extend tools that multiple product teams rely on ensuring a smooth and productive development experience across the organization.
Doyouhavewhatittakes
Ideally you have few years of experience with Unity development with proficiency in C# and comfortable working within large Unity codebases
Experience with Unity UI systems (e.g. NGUI UI Toolkit)
Familiarity with asset pipeline workflows including import and build processes
Strong understanding of software development best practices including source control (e.g. Git) testing and documentation
Experience working on cross-functional teams in a product-led development environment
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have:
Understanding of 3D mathematics (e.g. vectors transforms matrices)
Experience with Unity build automation and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with 3D modelling tools (e.g. Blender Maya)
Awareness of backend development or cloud services (e.g. AWS) and how they integrate with Unity tools
