At Techo-Bloc our Production Labourers play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations. This position is perfect for those who are new to the industry or looking for a stepping stone to a career in manufacturing.
Our production laborers are true concrete connoisseurs! On a daily basis you will be handling and inspecting concrete blocks while serving as the right hand to our machine operators and maintenance crew.
- Transport raw materials finished products and equipment in the plant either manually or with mechanical equipment;
- Perform complete examination of finished product for height shape color and consistency applying knowledge of company specific standards as indicated and applicable for production systems;
- Complete block checks remove all defective parts from pallet or carton and replace defective parts with quality parts. These duties vary depending on the production line product and process to which the laborer is assigned;
- Sort pack crate and wrap materials and products;
- Performs other laborer and worker duties;
- Clean machines and work areas.
Qualifications :
- You will use your manual skills. You will frequently be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). We wont hide it from you this is a physically demanding position;
- Manual dexterity hand-eye coordination and a combination of postures: sitting standing and walking required;
- Punctuality concentration and attention to detail;
- Team spirit and collaboration.
