MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8 HOUR ROTATING SCHEUDLE
The Selector / Production Worker is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for loading cartons carriers and partitions on the carton assembler. They will also observe production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments. The Selector / Production Worker will:
- Manually load cartons carriers and partitions on the assembler
- Clear any jams that impede the production line
- Visually inspect cartons and bottles for any obvious defects
- Occasionally reselect packed product as instructed
The Selector / Production Worker should have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good interpersonal skills
- Be highly safety conscious
Qualifications :
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule with weekend and holiday requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical degree is preferred but not required
- Previous industrial experience is a plus
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
