The College of Public Health is a dynamic and diverse institution serving approximately 1600 undergraduate and graduate students. With a total budget exceeding $50 million the College secures an average of $24 million annually in research funding for its faculty. It employs over 400 faculty and staff with more than 100 graduate and student assistants appointed each semester.
ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
- Perform front desk administrative tasks: answer phones direct calls greet visitors.
- Manage mail and packages.
- Assist faculty and staff with shipping and receiving including logging incoming packages and notifying recipients.
- Set up classrooms and lobby areas for meetings and events.
- Assist with office moves; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook Teams).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
