The events and recruiting coordinator for enrollment management is responsible for planning executing and evaluating admissions events on campus while also coordinating the recruiting travel schedules of admissions counselors to high schools community colleges and college fairs. This position ensures seamless communication logistics and operational support that strengthen the Universitys outreach and recruitment efforts.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service to prospective students families school partners and campus visitors
- Plans manages and executes all admissions-related campus events (e.g. preview days admit days orientation high school visits registration days etc)
- Coordinates and manages admissions counselors external recruiting activities including travel schedules school visits community college outreach and college fair participation
- Serves as liaison between admissions staff and external partners (high school counselors community colleges professional organizations)
- Collaborates with institutional departments and academic schools to ensure successful delivery of all recruitment and event initiatives
- Assists in managing event budgets purchase orders and contracts with vendors
- Supports Enrollment Management leadership with special projects and divisional events
Service Orientation
- Ensures content and quality of events meet or exceed expectations of potential students and staff
- Collects feedback from stakeholders to continually improve events
- Provides department members with accurate and detailed information as requested
Communication Collaboration and Teamwork
- Ensures all admissions events meet or exceed expectations in quality organization and execution
- Proactively addresses questions from prospective students and families directing them to appropriate resources as needed
- Supports counselors in representing Lindenwood professionally at off-campus recruiting activities
- Collaborates with the communication specialist and marketing department to create and deliver all digital and print communication related to recruiting visits and events
Planning Organizing and Accountability
- Compiles information and organizes it into relevant reports
- Develops and maintains master calendars for recruitment travel and campus events
- Manages RSVP systems attendance tracking and follow-up communication for events
- Oversees logistics such as venue reservations catering technology support and event staffing
- Prepares reports on event outcomes and recruitment activities to inform strategic decision-making
Initiative Problem-Solving and Decision Making
- Consistently recognizes and assesses areas of improvement
- Collects organizes and composes correspondence for department staff
- In coordination with leadership strategize and create new events to supplement the universitys recruitment strategy
Support the Mission of the University
- Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence

Required Qualifications An equivalent combination of education training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

- Valid drivers license required
