Novotel Canberra is on the hunt for a reliable and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant to join our culinary team. Youll be the behind-the-scenes hero keeping things clean organised and running smoothly so our chefs can shine. Fast-paced hands-on and full of opportunities to learn and grow this is your chance to be part of a supportive team in a buzzing hotel environment.
Qualifications :
Essential:
A positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
Ability to follow hygiene safety and food handling procedures
Physically fit able to lift carry and stand for extended periods
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen hospitality or cleaning role
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic food prep
Understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
