POSITION TITLE: Dean of Enrollment Management
REPORTS TO: President
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides the strategic direction and leadership for the Admissions Department and implementation of a forward-thinking results-oriented recruitment plan that aligns with institutional priorities. This position will lead a highly-collaborative data-informed effort to achieve recruitment goals and serve as a collaborative partner with other departments in retention efforts to ensure the College maximizes enrollment and improves graduation rates in accordance with institutional needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement annually recruitment and admission goals and strategies for the College that ensure comprehensive and effective efforts; including local national and international prospective students.
- Develop and set strategy related to visit programming including but not limited to open house daily visits off-campus receptions scholarship competition days etc.
- Provide and implement strategy for prospective student outreach and follow-up for feeder schools and community agencies; design and implement a tracking and evaluation system to evaluate the progress of students from their recruitment through enrollment.
- Work strategically with Marketing to ensure the development of distinct and comprehensive recruitment outreach and other related materials and messages including undergraduate an enrollment marketing strategy: print email social media content and other mediums.
- Analyze internal and external recruitment admission and retention market data to adjust quickly to changing College and enrollment needs and trends.
- Provide leadership guidance and coordinate training for admissions staff in recruitment efforts.
- Create reports and make recommendations as needed to the President Presidents Council and Board regarding all recruitment activities and strategies.
- Determine admissions policies and procedures that remain compliant under all legal regulations and accreditation guidelines.
- Ensure efficient and effective processes and the use of Salesforce (CRM) including data integrity.
- Oversee the management of the Admissions Department budget.
- Ensure admissions policies/procedures are within National Association for College Admissions Counselors good practices guidelines.
- Serves as a liaison with offices across campus with regard to all undergraduate Admissions communications decisions functions and operation.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve on college-wide committees as requested.
- Advise create reports and make presentations to the Admissions and Marketing Trustee Committee and Board of Trustees as requested by the President.
- Contributes to preparation of internal state and federal government reports as required and requested.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Manage and supervise Admissions Department staff. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance: rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION:
Essential: Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Desirable: Masters degree
EXPERIENCE:
Essential: Three to five years in admissions with two years as an assistant or associate director/dean.
Desirable: Five to 10 years in admissions with at least three years as a director/dean or associate/assistant director/dean of Admissions.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk or sit. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to time. Travel off-campus is required.
TARGET SALARY RANGE: $80000 to $95000 annually
