Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting function providingrelevant information to ownership and external stakeholders as necessary.
To be successful in this role you should have previous experience with all aspects of accountingfunctions and a flair for making sense of the abstract when circumstances necessitate a deeper dive.
Ultimately you will provide Isotropic with accurate quantitative information on the financial positionliquidity and cash flows of our business while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations thatgovern the communications industry.
Responsibilities
Manage small team tasked with accounting for company transactions
Establish effective comprehensive processes and related internal controls including accountspayable and receivable in support of the accounting function
Handle monthly quarterly and annual closings
Present/review financial statements with ownership monthly
Provide necessary information to external tax preparer
Prepare annual budget forecasts
Manage annual financial audit
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Ensure accounting team compliance with financial policies and regulations
Ad-hoc management requests
Requirements
5-10-year accounting experience
GAAP expertise
Knowledge of/experience with QuickBooks Desktop
Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
BS in Accounting and/or Finance
CPA license or progress toward obtaining
