Our System Commissioning & Performance (SC&P) Group plays a pivotal role in how ACC partners with the health sector to deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders.

Were now looking for a strategic and experienced leader to step into the role of Head of System Monitoring & Performance someone who can elevate our approach to health sector intelligence and performance management driving innovation and impact across the system.

This is a unique opportunity to shape system-wide performance lead innovation in provider partnerships and ensure our commissioning decisions are driven by robust intelligence and aligned with ACCs strategic direction.

This role sits at the intersection of health sector engagement strategic performance management and data-informed decision-making.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the commissioning lifecycle for critical health servicesensuring provider capabilities are aligned with ACCs strategic goals to deliver improved outcomes. Through innovative approaches to provider engagement and performance monitoring youll foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across our health service network.

The Head of System Monitoring & Performance reports to our Deputy Chief Executive System Commissioning and Performance.

About you Mōu

To thrive in this role youll bring:

• Expertise in leveraging complex health sector data and analytics to inform high-level decision making and drive organisational strategy.
• Ability to set a compelling strategic direction for health sector performance monitoring inspiring your team and stakeholders to achieve ambitious goals.
• Deep understanding of the health sector landscape coupled with the ability to anticipate future trends and translate them into actionable strategies for ACC.
• Proven ability to lead transformational change particularly in implementing new systems processes and cultural shifts within large complex organisations. Experience in managing strategic procurement including successfully leading initiatives to optimise supply chains and implementation of cost-saving strategies.
• Proven commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi with demonstrated leadership in applying its principles in practice
• A track record as an innovative and inspiring leader creating high performing engaged teams.

In this role youll leverage your experience and skills to lead ACCs approach to health sector intelligence and decision making ultimately improving rehabilitation and injury prevention outcomes across Aotearoa.

The appointing salary range for this role is $189346-$245040 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. We offer hybrid working optionsa 9% employer superannuation contribution.
