Job Summary
Volunteer Hairdresser Marie Curie Hospice Bradford
Availability:Any weekday between 10:00 and 15:30
Were looking for a qualified Hairdresser or Barber to join our team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
By offering your time care and professional service youll help patients feel comfortable confident and cared for - bringing a little joy and dignity to their day through something as simple and powerful as a haircut.
If youre passionate about people and want to use your skills to brighten someones day wed love to hear from you.
What youll be doing:
- Provide hairdressing/barbering services to patients at the hospice
- Liaise with staff to identify patients whod like to use the service
- Offer friendly conversation and a listening ear
- Keep the salon space clean tidy and welcoming
- Flag any wellbeing concerns to staff
- Support with other related tasks as needed

- NVQ level qualification in hairdressing/Barbering
