Title: Mentor Committee Member
Stipend: $721.54 for 2025-2026 academic year
Committee Charge and Member Responsibilities:
The mentor committee meets approximately monthly to support the mentor coordinator whose primary responsibility is to oversee the mentoring program. Members are often called upon to share their perspectives on issues that arise affecting mentors mentees and the program generally. As a member you will collaborate with the mentor coordinator and other committee members to successfully administer the mentor program set goals and update processes. Depending on the work at hand members may contribute specific expertise they have to special projects. Members serve 3-year terms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
2 positions available:
1 position available for a Unit A LPS Educator who is a trained mentor with 4 to 7 years of experience in LPS
1 position for a Unit A LPS educator who is a trained mentor
The mentor committee serves the interests of the entire district. We strive to be a committee that reflects the diversity of our student population represents Pre-K through 12th grades and includes a balance of educator positions.
