Serving airports and other aviation clients for more than 70 years across all seven continents our aviation consulting practice includes both planning and development services that span activation planning airfield and airspace business and finance commercial development environmental ground transportation master planning and strategy terminal planning and design.
What Youll Do:
Lead and conduct planning studies and analyze airport facilities and operations
Simulate airfield and airspace operations including runways taxiways and gates using TAAM software
Analyze simulation modeling input and output data sets
Analyze flight schedules study airport fleet mixes and optimize aircraft gate management systems
Participate in data collection and survey assignments
Coordinate and write task analysis results and reports
Assist in preparing project work scopes and schedules
Engage client staff attend client meetings/presentations and establish positive relationships
Train junior staff in simulation modeling tools and techniques
What Youll Bring:
8-12 years of experience in airfield/airspace planning and simulation with extensive experience using TAAM software and/or AirTop experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills using tools such as Excel Tableau etc.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or GIS preferred
Knowledge of programming (Python R etc.) preferred
Knowledge and interest in the aviation industry and airport operations
Bachelors or masters degree in engineering planning aviation business operations research or related fields is an asset
Location:
Preferably based in one of our offices in New York Chicago San Francisco or Cincinnati. Remote work from home is also an option for the right candidate.
Travel Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 20% of the year to airport clients and L&Bs U.S. and overseas offices.
