Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage and monitor contracts from initiation through closeout ensuring compliance with state policies and deadlines
Enter and track procurement requests in the North Carolina Financial System (NCFS) or other state-approved platforms
Review verify and process vendor invoices for payment resolving discrepancies as needed
Maintain accurate records of contracts procurement activities and financial transactions
Serve as a liaison between program staff vendors and the Division of Purchase & Contract
Interpret and apply state procurement and financial policies and procedures
Assist in budget tracking and reporting related to contracted services and purchases
Provide administrative support for audits reviews and internal controls
Train or guide staff on procurement and invoice processing procedures
Recommend improvements to administrative processes to enhance efficiency and compliance

DAC is one of the largest state agencies with more than 19000 employees.
