Our client an Am Law 50 firm is seeking a Manager AI and Practice Solutions to lead a portfolio of litigation and discovery practice technologies. This role will oversee both off-the-shelf and custom solutions designed to enhance legal service delivery and improve the client experience.
The Manager will evaluate the effectiveness of existing technology identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and implement new solutions. A strong focus will be placed on change management and user adoption supported by persuasive use cases and strategic communication.
This position requires close collaboration with Knowledge and Innovation Attorneys (KIAs) practice groups IT Information Security Data Privacy Change Management and other colleagues across the Practice Innovation (PI) Department. The role is also client-facing engaging with stakeholders to understand practice-specific challenges and drive process improvement through technology. The position reports to the Director of Practice Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed on developments trends and best practices in legal technology particularly in litigation discovery and generative AI.
- Research evaluate and recommend innovation tools that enhance accuracy collaboration and service delivery.
- Partner with KIAs discovery attorneys and practice groups to identify needs assess market tools and develop business cases for new technologies.
- Collaborate with discovery professionals on eDiscovery best practices including data collection processing AI-enabled workflows and production.
- Manage the full lifecycle of technology projectspiloting vendor management training adoption campaigns and performance measurement.
- Lead adoption initiatives by developing communication strategies training plans and success metrics (e.g. usage reports user surveys).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned practice solutions and establish credibility as a trusted resource for attorneys and firm leaders.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships contribute to best practices and support related projects as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Project management expertise: leading complex cross-departmental initiatives; resolving timeline scope and budget issues; developing detailed proposals and reports.
- Communication and change management: strong presentation skills ability to create training materials and adoption campaigns using digital tools and comfort engaging firm leadership and clients.
- Technical knowledge: deep expertise in discovery and litigation technologies (Relativity RelOne Opus2 Disco Concordance AI-driven workflows).
- Professional background:
- Bachelors degree required; JD preferred.
- PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
- 5 years in project management or business analysis.
- 5 years in knowledge management discovery technology/services or IT.
- 7 years in a litigation-related legal or professional services environment.
- Experience with legal applications of generative AI strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including superior PowerPoint design and delivery skills.

We are seeking candidates who are not traditional project managers in terms of supporting the owner but those who own the process and are responsible for driving the projects forward for stakeholders.
Applicants must be well-versed with litigation and ediscovery specifically the EDRM process and must understand the litigation life cycle from start to finish. Ideally the team is seeking a former attorney or paralegal who has transitioned into a role focused on practice innovation.
They will be proactive resourceful and have strong skills with tracking and balancing multiple projects in different stages at any given time. They will be working with our KM Litigation Attorneys in scoping out projects and potential solutions while working through those solutions via our internal sytesm and providing training on them.
They must also be proficient with creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to others via demos computer trainings etc.
