Berry Street provides services to children young people and their families across the South East Victoria region.
The Youth Justice Act 2024 will raise the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to 12 years from 30 September 2025. To support these changes the 2023-24 Victorian Budget allocated $5 million for early intervention diversion and family therapy programs for 10- and 11-year-old young people in contact or at risk of contact with the justice system.
