About the Role
The Staff Development and Recruitment Coordinator is a key leadership role within the Pre-Analytical Services Department at St Vincents Pathology.
You will provide training supervision clinical support and coordination of day-to-day operations ensuring all services run efficiently safely and in line with St Vincents Pathology Policies and Procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the recruitment training and ongoing competency of Pre-Analytical staff.
Managing and supporting team members across Patient Services Specimen Reception Data Entry and Call Centre functions.
Supervising staff performance to ensure service objectives and quality standards are met.
Supporting students and employees with varying learning needs through tailored development plans.
Meeting program timeframes for training and competency assessments.
Ensuring all Pre-Analytical workgroups operate efficiently with competent well-supported staff.
Classification: Pathology Collector Grade 4 (IN27) $69747 per annum (plus superannuation) with an over-award component bringing the total remuneration to $50.08 per hour commensurate with skills and experience.
Your Contribution
You will have:
Victorian Certificate of Education (or equivalent) or a TAFE Certificate/Associate Diploma.
Minimum five years experience as a Pathology Collector.
Current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain.
Strong leadership communication and mentoring capability.
Proven organisational skills and a commitment to patient-centred service delivery.

St Vincents Pathology provides comprehensive diagnostic testing to patients of St Vincents Private Hospitals (Fitzroy East Melbourne and Kew) St Vincents Public Hospital Melbourne and privately referred patients through over 80 collection centres across metropolitan Melbourne.
