Who are we looking for
The role involves managing SEN Support Plans by developing implementing and overseeing individualised plans. It includes attending and contributing to EHCP reviews with the Centre Manager ensuring plans are updated for effectiveness. The position requires working collaboratively with staff to develop strategies for diverse learner needs supporting Learning Support Assistants with guidance and tools and ensuring resource allocation. Direct intervention through 1-1 and small group sessions is essential to support learner progress. The role also includes leading meetings maintaining communication with parents assisting high-needs learners during enrolment and organising transition activities to aid learner integration.
Job Title: SEN Centre Support Lead
Location: Basildon (Southgate)
Working Hours: 8.45 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday 1/2-hour lunch unpaid 8.45 am to 1.15 pm Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Other qualifications that may be relevant to the role will be considered depending on the status (Desirable)
