As a Senior Product Associate in Connected Commerce you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job Responsibilities
- Engages with cross-functional teams (including software engineering architecture and Quality Assurance) to advance the products vision and strategy ensuring customer needs are satisfied.
- Assess understand and measure customer need and value drivers; Leverages data analytics and deep customer journey knowledge to win market share and increase adoption by delivering new and enhanced products
- Executes in accordance with the direction from leadership by setting priorities and providing a strategic and tactical vision for the team; Trusted partner to the business and driving solutions through influence.
- Prioritizes work for delivery teams relative to product roadmap; Creates user stories requirements and acceptance criteria; Demos the product to key stakeholders and customers
- Works with product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the product
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 6 years of work experience Product Management along Working knowledge of product management techniques (e.g. product strategy development customer engagement)
- Knowledge of process modelling techniques (e.g. value stream mapping)
- Up-to-date knowledge of technology standards industry trends and emerging technologies
- Basic understanding of financial management such as investment processes business case development cost and recovery models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers
- Experience in managing agile cross-functional teams often through influence (i.e. not direct oversight)
- Clearly and succinctly organize concepts into an actionable path that delivers progress
- Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and making decisions with ambiguous information
- Agile Experience with tools such as Jira and understanding of Backlog Prioritization Techniques
- Hands on Experience of Functional Design Documentation including Business Use Cases PRDs and Business Requirements formulation
- Proven experience of building strong cohesive partnerships with the business operations technology and other key stakeholders
