Job Description
Nature and Scope
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy cardiac testing pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas monitoring. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates infants and pediatric adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road Quincy CA 95971.
Compensation
Compensation Philosophy:
- We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience
Compensation Range:
- $46.18 - $65.84 / hour

Qualifications
Education:
- Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current CPR ACLS PALS and NRP.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience with cardiac testing such as ECGs stress testing and holter monitors.
- Neonatal ICU
- Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates infants pediatrics adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the cardio-pulmonary department.
- Ability to evaluate lab data and diagnostic changes in patient condition and develop care plan with other team members to make and support needed critical intervention.
- Is a resourceful and effective team member dealing with atypical situations emergencies CPR trauma cases and equipment failures.
- Must practice safe and effective skills in pharmacology with the knowledge of therapeutic/dosage.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary patient care plan/conferences and consults with physician on patient care expectation/outcome.
