About the Role
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework. You will design build and maintain resilient event-driven systems automate processes and manage cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage Apache Kafka: configure topics manage partitions monitor metrics troubleshoot issues.
Design and maintain event-driven systems using Axon Framework with CQRS/ES patterns.
Work with other messaging platforms such as NATS or MQ as needed.
Build automation scripts and integrations using Python Go Java or Bash.
Manage Linux/Unix systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS GCP Azure) with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Implement observability (Prometheus Grafana Splunk Datadog) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Apply security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2 GDPR).
Qualifications:
35 years of hands-on experience in software development SRE or systems administration.
Proven experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration cloud platforms and automation.
Familiarity with networking observability and security practices.
