A top-performing secondary school in Salisbury renowned for its academic excellence and vibrant learning culture is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join its thriving Science Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position ideal for a dynamic educator eager to contribute to one of the regions most successful and forward-looking schools.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach Physics across Key Stages 3 to 5 nurturing curiosity analytical thinking and a love for discovery among students. Lessons will be designed to challenge and inspire combining practical experimentation with theoretical exploration. You will use the latest digital and laboratory technologies to engage students in topics ranging from mechanics and electricity to quantum physics and astrophysics.
As a valued member of the Science Faculty you will also play a key role in developing curriculum materials mentoring early career teachers and driving department-wide innovation. There will be opportunities to lead extra-curricular initiatives such as STEM clubs robotics challenges and astronomy evenings which are popular highlights of the school calendar. What Were Looking For
Qualified Physics Teacher (QTS/PGCE or international equivalent)
Strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject
Ability to teach across KS3KS5 including A-Level Physics
A reflective practitioner committed to innovative teaching and learning
Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular STEM and enrichment activities
