The Role
You will teach Biology across Key Stages 3 to 5 fostering intellectual curiosity independent thinking and a spirit of scientific inquiry. Lessons are designed to combine theory with experimentation helping students to connect complex biological processes with real-world applications in medicine ecology and biotechnology. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to guide students through A-Level and university preparation as Biology is one of the schools most popular and successful subjects.
Beyond classroom teaching you will contribute to the wider life of the department through enrichment activities such as science clubs fieldwork excursions conservation projects and competitive Olympiad participation. A degree in Biology or a related discipline and QTS/PGCE (or international equivalent)
