A successful and forward-looking secondary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated Science ECT to join its dynamic Science Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position offering the chance to work within a supportive high-achieving department committed to academic excellence and staff development.
The Role
You will teach Science across Key Stages 35 developing pupils knowledge and confidence through engaging practical lessons. The schools ECT induction programme provides outstanding mentoring regular feedback and classroom support ensuring your transition into teaching is smooth and successful. You will have the opportunity to teach your specialism whether Biology Chemistry or Physics and play an active role in extracurricular opportunities such as STEM clubs science fairs and competitions.
Youll work closely with experienced colleagues to plan lessons that promote critical thinking curiosity and independent learning ensuring students of all abilities can succeed.

Science ECT with QTS/PGCE (or pending qualification)
