Job Description
Our client in Warrendale PA is looking for a Quality Manager.
Job Duties:
- Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet certification and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer specifications
- Plan lead and document internal and external audits; manage audit findings and resolutions
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
- Work cross-functionally with production engineering and supply chain to resolve quality concerns
- Deliver training and mentorship on quality practices procedures and standards
- Analyze trends in quality data and generate reports for senior management
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe organized work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field
- 7 years of experience in quality assurance including leadership or management roles
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 AS9100 and other applicable industry standards
- Proficient with quality tools and methodologies including FMEA SPC and Six Sigma
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Strong analytical thinking communication and problem-solving abilities
