Description:
We are hiring on behalf of our client a leading manufacturing company based in Newry who are seeking to appoint an experienced Industrial Electrician (Testing & Inspection). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and reputable engineering business working across critical infrastructure projects. The successful Industrial Electrician will be responsible for testing and certifying modifications made to control panels on NI Water sites ensuring compliance with all current regulations and NICEIC standards.

The Role:
Conduct inspection testing and certification of electrical control panel modifications
Work across NI Water sites ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards
Complete EICR documentation and other related NICEIC certification
Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical modifications meet client and industry standards
Identify and rectify electrical faults where required
The Person:
Fully qualified Electrician with 18th Edition & 2391-52 inspection and testing (essential)
Strong background in industrial electrical systems and control panels
Familiarity with utilities sector or NI Water environments (desirable)
Proactive safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Full UK driving licence
