Position: SCM Program Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SCM Program Manager to join our Taiwan Global Sourcing Supply Chain Management team. This role focuses on managing end-to-end import clearance for food and consumer products working closely with Taiwan FDA BSMI and customs authorities. You will serve as the operational and compliance lead for inbound product readiness and drive improvement initiatives in our regulatory supply chain.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage daily import clearance operations for food and general merchandise SKUs
- Act as key liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g. TFDA BSMI) and brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and labeling compliance
- Lead product registration import licensing and Chinese label validation to prevent clearance delays and ensure legal compliance
- Partner with brokers to ensure accurate HS code classification API transmission and documentation quality
- Coordinate and resolve regulatory escalations product holds or customs delays minimizing cost and time impact
- Drive ad hoc compliance and NPI readiness projects: new category import setup documentation workflow redesign labeling automation
- Build and maintain SOPs for regulatory compliance product onboarding and clearance lifecycle
- Monitor and report key metrics: clearance lead time hold rates label rework ratios and cost trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Tech Fulfillment Legal and Global Operations
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in import operations regulatory compliance or supply chain
- Strong knowledge of Taiwan food import regulations especially FDA licensing product registration and labeling
- Experience working with customs brokers 3PLs or freight forwarders in a regulatory-heavy environment
- Ability to manage complex documentation workflows and lead urgent issue resolution
- Skilled in Excel and operational dashboards; experience with ERP or SCM tools is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication and project coordination skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in e-commerce FMCG or consumer electronics import
- Experience with digital transformation or process automation in import documentation or compliance
