About the role
Please note this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.
The Security Services organization is responsible for building core security products and features such as Data Loss Prevention web security IPS Malware and Threat Prevention and Breach and Anomaly Detection. We apply artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies across the Netskope cloud security platform. As part of the Security Services organization the security efficacy team is responsible for continuous enhancement and enrichment of our threat intelligence and security infrastructure capabilities.

As a member of the security services team you will play a key role in the design development and operation of the security services that power the Netskope Security Cloud. You will work across development research and product management teams to craft innovative solutions to the most challenging problems our customers face and use your passion for and expertise in threat protection malware detection web security and network security to help drive the continued evolution of our market-leading products. What you will be doing
- Work in the frontend to implement web applications with an emphasis on AI/LLM products.
- Work in the WebUI backend to support web application service features.
- Develop reusable UI components in React/Angular16 Javascript and HTML5/CSS3.
- Ensure that the Netskope web interface works seamlessly in all browsers.
- Keep abreast of latest technologies and web methodologies which could be used in the Netskope product in future.
- We are looking for highly motivated and talented developers who are self-driven and work in a startup-like environment within a larger company.
Required skills and experience
- 12 years of full stack software development experience
- Expertise in Javascript
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3 and modern CSS Frameworks and pre-compilers.
- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (React/Angular16 preferred).
- Experience with any backend languages like PHP Python Java or NodeJS.
- Proficient in Algorithms.
- Proficient in relational database design.
- Knowledge of secure web development practices.
- Working knowledge of git or other version controlling tools.
- Experience in improving web application performance and testing tools is a big plus.
Education
- BSCS or equivalent required MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
