Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Product Director to lead Coupang Taiwans Payments product strategy and execution. You will own the end-to-end payment experience for millions of users optimizing for convenience security reliability and local market fit. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of user experience fintech innovation and scalable platform design.

What will you do

• Define and lead the product vision strategy and roadmap for payment-related experiences in Coupang Taiwan covering checkout wallet local payment integrations fraud prevention and payment reliability.
• Wow the customer by launching and scaling innovative fintech products for our consumers and sellers across markets.
• Drive growth conversion increase and profitability by continuously improving the user-experience via experimentation customer feedback and analytical insights.
• Execute our roadmap with urgency by partnering with stakeholders such as executives business operations design data science risk and engineering.
• Build inspire and lead a team of Product Managers responsible for the entire product life cycle from strategic planning through implementation.
• Understand local payment ecosystem and regulatory environment to make informed product decisions.
• Collaborate with global teams (Korea HQ and other markets) to align on shared infrastructure tools and innovation roadmaps.

Essential Qualifications

• Track record of developing and scaling innovative payments products for a Tier 1 Fintech or Consumer Internet business.
• Track record of managing high performing product development teams working in an agile environment with a rapid iteration cadence.
• Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate that into compelling products and services.
• Deep understanding of Taiwans payment ecosystem regulations and consumer behaviors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in high-growth fast-paced environments.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
