Skilled Deep Drainage - Groundworker

We are seeking an experienceddeep drainage groundworker to deliver high-quality underground drainage systems on major projects. If youre confident working with pipes manholes and trenching we want you on our team.

• Read and interpret drawings and site documentation accurately

• Competent in the setup and use of trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes

• Use pipe lasers to ensure accurate levels and alignment

• Lay concrete clay and plastic pipes of all sizes; ensure correct bedding surround and testing

• Manage groundwater and set up appropriate pumps for each job

• Correctly backfill trenches and bench all manholes

• Work safely around live services and apply service avoidance techniques

• Carry out external works such as kerbs slabs edgings and block paving as required

• Knowledgeable in the correct use of materials for underground drainage road formation and external works (hard & soft landscaping)

• Conduct daily pre-start plant safety inspections and communicate maintenance/service needs

• Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers)

• 5 years experience in skilled groundworks particularly drainage

• Experience working as part of a gang/team

• Reliable and punctual

• Works well with other trades to support programme delivery

• Right to work in the UK
