Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned

- Complete daily routes assigned by the scheduling TEAM

- Provide an exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promote GFLs service offerings

- Operate a tractor with box trailer / tanker deliver products and pick up commercial wastes such as oil filters Plastics drums of automotive fluids as well as other related products.

- Operate other fleet units such as Power Vacs Wet Vacs Hydrovacs Combos Rolloff trucks etc.

- Complete service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations

- Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab components and other assigned equipment

- Participate in GFLs safety programs including safety meetings last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments.

Knowledge Skills & Competencies:

- AZ Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract

- Ability to drive manual transmission (Required)

- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization multi-tasking use of timelines and time management techniques

- Able to work independently

- Customer service experience

- Self-motivated attitude

- Experience working in a safety sensitive environment

- Ability to work out of town and do potential overnights and weekends

- Must be flexible and dependable

- Strong work ethic

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult situations

- Overtime as required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Manual dexterity ability to lift 75 lbs required

- Waste experience is considered an asset
