Our Client has an immediate need for a Forklift Operator for Crown Reach and other Crown Forklifts. You are proficient in using a forklift and have at least 3 to 5 years experience.

We need people who can work full time on a Temporary to Permanent Basis. For this work we do not want associates who have another job as this is a strong health and safety concern due to fatigue at work. Rather a person who needs work and would like an opportunity to be hired.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Shipper/Receiver to join our clients warehouse team on a Temp to Perm basis.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient materials handling accurate order fulfillment and safe shipping and receiving operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Crown Reach Forklift in a safe and efficient matter and other heavy equipment familiarity with warehouse management systems and a strong understanding of safety protocols such as OSHA standards.

This temporary to full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of warehouse equipment including Crown Reach forklifts to load unload and move materials safely and efficiently
Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately
Load and unload shipments ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage
Assist with shipping and receiving activities including verifying shipments against documentation
Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to OSHA safety standards
Support warehouse distribution processes including materials handling and inventory management
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

Qualifications

At least 3 to 5 years Proven experience in warehouse distribution order picking or shipping & receiving roles using a Crown Reach.
Valid certification for forklift operation;
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including pallet jacks and other material handling machinery
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to verify shipments accurately
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
