Job Summary

Join Utah Community Action a mission-driven nonprofit making a lasting impact since 1965. Were seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day financial operations and help manage grants that fuel community change.

What Youll Do

Lead accounting and payroll functions with accuracy and integrity
Manage grant billing reporting and budget tracking
Collaborate with program leaders and support audits
Prepare journal entries reconciliations and financial forecasts
Work independently and make an impact-no micromanaging here!

What Youll Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills (you love pivot tables!)
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required)
- CPA or currently pursuing certification
- Masters in Accounting or related field
- Nonprofit accounting experience
- Familiarity with Community Actions fiscal management
- Experience with NetSuite & fund accounting

Travel & Flexibility

Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel may be required for training audits or program support. We value flexibility collaboration and adaptability.
