Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician

Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $43 to $45 per hour ($1800 - $1920 weekly)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments supplies and equipment.
Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments as required.
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
Monitor and manage the functionality and availability of surgical equipment.
Collaborate with the surgical team to prioritize patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Conduct accurate surgical supply and instrument counts before during and after procedures.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or equivalent credential required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with EPIC electronic health record system.
Prior experience in hospital or surgical environments.
Strong understanding of sterile techniques and a variety of surgical procedures.
Excellent communication organization and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure fast-paced settings.
