Links 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships in over 15 departments including Capital Markets Construction Development Financial Planning & Analysis Investments IT Asset Management Property Management Sustainability and more.
Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in a real estate internship on our capital markets team this upcoming summer. Summer interns will be exposed to properties across the industrial spectrum and can expect to have close interactions with teams across the Link platform.
Together with the Capital Markets team the intern will be responsible for supporting Link senior management and the Blackstone team in analytics reporting and deliverables related to Links financial and operational performance. Responsibilities will be wide-ranging and will include ongoing evaluation of company financial performance and strategic growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and report on financial and operating data to help Link make strategic business decisions
Synthesize cleanse and monitor data received from various internal teams and third-party sources
Build and maintain presentations financial reports and analytics for senior management and Blackstone
Track and evaluate Links portfolio financial and operating performance relative to peers
Handle special projects and analyses as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution
Pursuing a degree in accounting finance real estate economics mathematics or related field
Strong interest in commercial real estate asset management and investment (no formal experience )
Basic understanding of real estate investment and financing processes including but not limited to: market analysis financial analysis property valuation and capital markets
Exceptional knowledge of MS Word PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must currently be actively enrolled for consideration of internship
$45/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location and experience.
