As member of the Operations Insights Planning Analytics and Technology (IPAT) team this position will support Loss Pillar Reporting to provide insight to leadership and improve Cost To Serve.
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the World Wide Operations teams to deep dive data setup and provide actionable insight. The Finance Manager will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on professional integrity.
This candidate will be responsible for retrieving data from fortune and hydra development of financial models and developing the reporting framework. The role requires partnering with many internal teams to understand their business and drive accurate financial reporting and controls.
Loss pillar reporting is highly visible and requires strong communication skills with leadership.
Key job responsibilities
Establish reporting and planning process for loss pillar reporting. Conduct analysis to understand the E2E business and report to senior management. Deliver meaningful insight and practical recommendations through financial simulation and analysis to support decision making of senior management. Drive continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners. Driving process improvement and automation for planning reporting and review process.
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience - 4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience - Six Sigma Black Belt - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Experience as a lean sensei or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA or CPA - Knowledge of Tableau - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
