Job Description
Assembly Technician 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
1st shift hours: 7am - 4:30pm
2nd shift hours: 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: Mebane NC

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team!
Key Performance Areas
Perform manufacturing operations including assembly machinery operation processing and packaging. Operate black oxide line and conduct hardness checks on incoming parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Set up operate and maintain Laser marker specifications as per drawings.
- Assemble and pack the parts as specified in the routings and BOM.
- Use of hand or power tools during assembling.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Must be able to read write and speak English fluently.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process plans.
- Must demonstrate good eye-hand coordination and agility.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience with machining and cutting operations preferred.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Associate degree or Diploma from a Technical College or Trade School preferred.
