As a Mortuary Transport with The Wilbert Group your role would involve answering calls from hospitals funeral homes and other sources. You would be responsible for commuting to the designated location receiving human remains and transporting them in a safe and dignified manner. Compassionate and respectful communication with funeral directors and family members is also part of the job with training provided to fulfill these responsibilities

On-call shifts lasting 24 hours.
Receiving calls gathering all necessary information and following through with the required actions.
Handling humans remains with care and dignity.
Residing in the Denver metro area.
Possessing a valid drivers license.
Passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
Passing a background check and drug test.
Ability to work on-call shifts lasting 24 hours.
Availability to work during night weekend and holiday hours.
Must be able to understand directions.
Must be detail oriented

Ability to maintain control of a fast-paced multiple project environment
Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy while delivering to our customers.
Able to understand and execute all instructions on a customers order.

Capable of performing heavy lifting.
Ability to lift to 75lbs.
Physical requirements include lifting standing bending stooping twisting turning kneeling and squatting for short periods

Pay Range:

12.34 - 18.52
