Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Neptune NJ 07754
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12x3 Days (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Gross Weekly Pay: $2223
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction for the treatment management education and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Perform intubation assistance ventilator setup and management.
Evaluate patient needs through assessments testing and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Deliver patient/caregiver education tailored to individual needs in an understandable manner.
Develop professional relationships with patients caregivers and team members to ensure quality care.
Maintain accurate documentation of care and education provided.
Adhere to hospital policies safety standards and organizational competencies.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs.
Strong sense of accountability teamwork and patient-focused care.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Required.
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy Preferred.
Certifications & Licensure
BLS (AHA) Required.
ACLS Required.
PALS Required.
Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License Required.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (New Jersey) Required.
