DescriptionIn this position you will perform financial diligence and analysis of acquisitions divestitures joint venturesstrategic investments andmajor capital spending proposals. Additionally you will prepare and evaluate financial management information and special projects andperform other financial analysis upon request. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support all aspects of the M&A deal process including evaluation of deal materials plan and implement quality of earnings (QofE) and other financial due diligence reviews assist with negotiation of financial terms of the agreement determine accounting policies the working capital target and other components of purchase price and prepare and settle the closing purchase price.
- Analyze acquisition/divestiture/joint venture/strategic investment candidates including historical performance forecasts valuations pricing deal structure cost of capital and sensitivity analysis.
- Perform analysis to ensure thatstrategic andcapital investments provide an appropriate return on investment and increase shareholder value. Manage Enterprise review of major capital expenditures including an assessment of the financial risks and benefits. Apply consistent financial theory across investments to ensure the integrity of the analyses. Maintaindatabase of approve Appropriation Requests and provide quarterly activity reports to senior management.
- Prepare modeling and analysis to support Enterprise initiatives including cost of capital share repurchases and capital budgeting.
- Provide financial analysis supportfor ad-hoc FP&A projects as well as support forother Enterprise departments includingTaxTreasuryAccountingInvestor RelationsStrategicPlanning and Development as required.
Who You Are:
For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
Minimum five (5) years of related experience with a bachelors degree or three (3) years of related experience with a masters degree
Working knowledge of GAAP accounting
Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Masters degree (MBA or masters in accounting)
- CPA preferred
- Work experience in managing financial due diligence efforts in M&A transactions
- A demonstrated sense of urgency in work practices
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
