We are currently seeking a Machinist to join our Boart Longyear team in West Valley Utah.
Responsibilities
- 2 years heavy duty large product manual machining experience
- 2 years operating Horizontal Lathe (manual or CNC)
- Able to measure parts and do quality checks using inspection tools
- Set up and operation of machinery
- Read blueprints job orders tooling instructions or standard charts to determine specifications and machining procedures
- Use of various tools: turning facing grooving cut-off boring
- Inspecting tooling: micrometers calipers dial indicators and templates
Minimum Qualifications
- Have strong math skills
- Manual Lathe and Mill experience
- CNC Lathes or Mill experience are nice to have but not mandatory
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass a background check
- Have a good driving record
- Possess a valid drivers license
- High School diploma GED or equivalent.
