Role Overview

A Principal Data Analyst/Senior Manager Data Analysis leads multiple impactful projects related to the quality availability and depth of data needed by Coupang to make business decisions. This person will use their deep expertise in SQL and other languages data ETL development and data integrity to ensure that necessary information is available for all levels of analysis at Coupang. This person will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to not only accomplish business goals but to come up with novel ways to capture and analyze data. Additionally this person will contribute to analytics projects designed to help drive Coupangs growth support specific initiatives from all areas of Coupang and help analysts across the team and organization with their development.

What You Will Do

Lead Multiple High-Impact Data Projects
- Focus on improving the quality availability and depth of data to support business decision-making.
Data Development and Integrity
- Utilize advanced SQL and other programming languages.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams.
- Propose innovative methods for data collection and analysis.

Basic Qualifications

Proficient in SQL Python & Power BI
Independently generate meaningful insights through data analysis and use of data visualization tools.
Verify the effectiveness of HR policies/programs in operation through data analysis.
Independently communicate on data analysis results and carry out the process of identifying areas to revise/supplement/improve.
Independently carry out analysis model improvement by monitoring/tracking the analysis results applied and identifying areas improved.
Analyze requirements by data requester and service.
Process and provide data in an analyzable format based on requirements.
Define KPIs and identify improvement opportunities in HR analytics.
Tackle complex data analysis problems effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using cloud-based databases( like hive/presto airflow aws redshift ) is a plus
