Aviation Composite Engineer
Location:Stansted UK
Salary:(DOE)
Hours: Full time

Chevronis proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilledComposite Engineer for their growing team.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast-paced MRO environment you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assemblies
- Conduct inspections and assess damage using non-destructive methods and visual analysis
- Manufacture and fit composite components using pre-preg wet lay-up or vacuum bagging techniques
- Prepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Liaise with engineering planning and quality teams to support efficient workflow
- Operate in accordance with safety protocols engineering drawings and OEM specifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience incomposite repair and manufacturingwithin theaviation/aerospaceindustry
- Understanding ofEASA/CAA regulationsand composite repair standards
- Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre glass fibre and aramid
- Familiarity withtechnical drawings manuals and repair documentation
- A strong eye for detail manual dexterity and quality-first approach
- Relevant training or certification in composite technologies (desirable)
