About The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate smart and driven individual to be responsible for implementing data storage and processing solutions for business analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience translating business needs into reliable and secure data processes using the Azure platform. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Our development team works in an open agile environment that values innovation and a startup attitude while enjoying the stability of being part of a leading travel company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to load and transform data for business analytics and system integrations.
• Optimize data processing to ensure efficiency and cost optimization
• Identify and resolve database performance issues.
• Actively participate in Agile team activities including standups planning sessions and retrospectives.
• Implement and oversee security best practices to ensure secure database coding.
• Provide troubleshooting support and identify root causes for technical issues.
• Support the technical documentation team in preparing necessary materials.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2 years of experiencedata engineering with Apache Spark
• Proven expertise inbuilding and optimizing big data pipelines and transformations.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience withLakehouse architecture.
• Proficiency inAzure SynapseandAzure Data Factory.
• Advanced skills inPython particularly withPySpark
• Experience with Power BI and/or Fabric
• SQL Server database developmentexperience
• Experience withAzure Data LakeandBlob Storage.
• Experience working in anAgile development environment.
• Knowledge ofPCI GDPR ISO or other security compliance standards.
• Experience working withtravel data and platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience withMicrosoft Dynamics (F&O) is highly desired
