Job Summary
Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician (Gearbox Specialist) - 4 day week
Location: Killingworth Newcastle NE12 5US
Salary: 40000 bonus OTE 45000
Full Time and Permanent 4 Day week which rotates Monday to Friday
4 days 10 hours per day
Working hours 7.00am-5.30pm
NO WEEKENDS and a 4 day week!
Our client is an independent motor repair business that specialises in gearbox repairs they have been established since 1971.
The role is working 4 days on a rota basis between Monday to Friday only so NO WEEKENDS!
They are now actively looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their garage in Killingworth.
The Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic will play a vital role within the business you will be comfortable conducting vehicle repairs to book times and be capable of performing any additional repairs as required. You will deliver a high standard of work excellent time keeping and productivity.
The role will involve the following:
- Carrying out testing and diagnostics
- Removing and installing both Automatic and manual gearboxes
- Transmission and Drive line system repairs
- General Vehicle Maintenance
Skills Required:
- At least 5 years experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience working on Gearboxes transmissions and Drive Line Systems
- Full and Valid UK driving licence
