Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a distinguished luxury restaurant group in Franschhoek. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a professional kitchen environment that prides itself on culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes within the designated section
Maintain consistency in standards flavour and presentation across all menu items
Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen supporting senior chefs where required
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and health regulations
Oversee stock control ordering and the correct storage of ingredients
Contribute to menu development with creativity and innovation
Train and mentor junior team members as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments
Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for delivering culinary excellence
Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
Good knowledge of stock management costing and kitchen operations
A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
