Position: CA (SA) - Costing
Location: JHB South

Overview
We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This role will provide full cost accounting support to allocated supply chain manufacturing units ensuring accurate costing reporting and control systems are in place to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure complete and accurate bills of material exist for every manufactured product.
Maintain and update standard costs for all material components.
Analyse investigate and report on production cost variances.
Compile costing packs for new products.
Report on actual production costs vs. standard costs.
Review and submit standard costs in line with the annual costing calendar.
Conduct post-production season reviews analysing and reporting on cost-related data.
Support and assist production departments in cost management.
Perform special costing projects and ensure all production costs are accurately accounted for.
Develop and implement control systems for effective shop-floor administration.
Process and reconcile inventory-related transactions including goods in transit reports.
Assist with annual budget preparation and system uploads.
Maintain accurate financial reconciliations and records of standard costs.
Resolve cost and inventory-related queries promptly.
Undertake ad hoc tasks as delegated by management.
Requirements
CA(SA) - Newly qualified - Articles completed
Strong Excel proficiency (minimum 3 years experience).
