Job Description

Talent Sourcing Specialist (6-Month Contract) Luxury Property Group Johannesburg
Salary: Negotiable DOE

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist on a 6-month contract for a leading luxury property group based in Johannesburg. This role will suit a proactive and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in talent sourcing and recruitment ideally within the hospitality or luxury service industry.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source candidates through multiple channels including the company career page job boards social media internal networks referrals and agencies.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future recruitment needs.

  • Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and critical roles across the group s properties.

Candidate Engagement & Screening

  • Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidate suitability motivation and alignment with company values.

  • Ensure timely and professional communication with all candidates throughout the process.

  • Carry out reference qualification and compliance checks.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed recruitment records within the applicant tracking system.

Market Intelligence & Employer Branding

  • Monitor talent market trends and competitor activity to strengthen sourcing strategies.

  • Collaborate with marketing to promote the employer value proposition and attract talent.

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure all sourcing activities are compliant with Employment Equity legislation and internal recruitment policies.

  • Support hiring managers with shortlisting and interview coordination during high-volume recruitment periods.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing tools templates and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources Business Marketing or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in talent sourcing or recruitment preferably in hospitality or luxury service industries.

  • Proven track record in sourcing passive candidates and managing high-volume recruitment.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn job boards).

  • Basic design skills in Canva (advantageous).

  • Strong command of MS 365 Office suite with a focus on formatting accuracy.
