About the Role
The Business Development Senior Specialist Global M&A Private Equity & Activism is an integral part of Lathams Business Development role will be responsible for supporting the M&A and Private Equity practice groups overall marketing and business development goals while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of practice market and industry expertise client mix matter experience trade groups and media. This role will be located in ourNew Yorkoffice. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Providing research analysis and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
- Leveraging an understanding of the firms client base to analyze opportunities and successes
- Identifying and reporting on market share across products industries and markets
- Supporting the implementation of business development tactics and initiatives in alignment with the strategic objectives of practices markets relevant industry sectors and/or clients as assigned
- Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies including collaborating with relevant BD teams
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Wed love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate high degree of discretion and independent judgment
- Possess ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities effectively
- Exhibit exceptional verbal written communication and professional interpersonal skills
And have:
- A bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Economics Marketing or a related field preferably
- A minimum of (5) years cumulative experience preferably
- A minimum of (3) years related subject matter experience and related analytical experience preferably
